Jesus Christ Never Owned Any Property

The standard of love and truth established by Jesus has remained as shining examples worthy of emulation by Christians and non-Christians alike. He never acquired wealth, and never owned any property, and yet He is respected and revered throughout history. No other spiritual leader or teacher has inspired so many positive and meaningful changes in the lives of believers. Jesus Christ changed and transformed the world and humankind for good. He changed the outlook and lifestyle of millions of people in this world, including my humble self. Jesus realized the full consciousness of God, lived the truth, and loved goodness. He was enlightened by true wisdom, had a peaceful spirit, and sought the supreme Good. He made all imaginable efforts so that all human beings, created in the image and likeness of God, can love God and one another, live a happy constructive life, and dwell in peace and harmony. In addition to healing the sick, Jesus of Nazareth instructed the ignorant, brought those who strayed to do the right things, and implored the individuals whom He healed to “Go and sin no more” (John 5:14). Till this day, His teachings have enlightened, sanctified, and pacified all humanity. The impact of the life and teachings of Jesus Christ on the culture and history of the world was perfectly described by the Swiss-born, German-educated Protestant theologian and historian of the Christian church, Philip Schaff, who lived and taught in the United States. “This Jesus of Nazareth, without money and arms, conquered more millions than Alexander, Caesar, Mohammed, and Napoleon; he shed more light on things human and divine than all philosophers and scholars combined; without the eloquence of schools, he spoke such words of life as were never spoken before or since, and produced effects which lie beyond the reach of orator or poet; without writing a single line, he set more pens in motion, and furnished themes for more sermons, orations, discussions, learned volumes, works of art, and songs of praise than the whole army of great men of ancient and modern times.”
