Medical Meditation and Anxiety
Anxiety is a negative metal state characterized by nervousness and constant state of worry, fear, apprehension, and anticipation of misfortune. Generally, normal individuals often experience anxiety before confronting something challenging, such as speaking before a large audience, taking a test or examination, or having a job interview; however, anxiety becomes a problem when it interferes with your ability to constantly fail to sleep, or underperform in everyday normal tasks due to fear or worry. A chronic or excessive feeling of anxiety and worry, or uncontrollable apprehension about normal life events with no obvious reasons for worry is called Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). Individuals suffering from GAD often think negatively and are constantly afraid or worried about something such as money, health, relationship, family, school, or work. Such people feel irritable, sleepless, and fatigued most of the time without reason. Because of their negative thoughts and feelings, they end up bringing disaster and failure to their lives. Jesus Christ specifically warned His followers not to be anxious for anything because the Almighty God already knows their needs and can supply them abundantly.
Meditation is a good therapy for anxiety. Those individuals in our midst who are struggling with anxiety or GAD can benefit immensely from the calming effects of medical meditation. Combined with deep breaths, daily practice of meditation is therapeutic for anxiety. It improves your spiritual well-being, gives you more energy, and instills more strength, courage, and confidence into your hearts and mind. Meditation changes the underlying pattern of reactive negative thinking that created the anxiety in the first place. Thus, this ancient practice which has been neglected by the Western World is a wonderful and effective method for healing anxiety. Freedom from anxiety through meditation enhances our optimism in life. Please meditate if you are a victim of anxiety or GAD and experience the healing effect of medical meditation. Daily practice of medical meditation is better and superior to daily intake of medications.
