Meditation is Food for Your Soul

Meditation nourishes your soul as food nourishes your body. The meditative experience fosters and enhances self-awareness, self-understanding, and self-realization. Through introspection and deep relaxation, meditation contributes to a better understanding, awareness, and communication with your soul and with God. When the mind is turned inwardly, you become supersensitive to the impressions and vibrations coming from God. The act of meditation also establishes purity of heart and enables the practitioners to dewll with the Lord, experience His true essence, and commune with Him in pureness and worthiness. “Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God” (Matthew 5:8). Meditation makes it possible for human beings to approach God and dwell in Him with a pure and reverent heart. Long-term practice of meditation fosters compassion, love, happiness, joy, and forgiveness. The practice enables you to be a superconscious being, full of love, knowledge, wisdom, and power. A human being beyond the feelings of selfishness, greed, vanity, jealousy, anger, hatred, and other vices of a kindred nature. A superconciousness that embraces a continual sensation of unconditional love, conjoined with spiritual power, knowledge and wisdom, are the final products of daily meditative experience. Any man or woman who acquires these Godly qualities through meditation can manifest perpetual health, perpetual youth, perpetual vigor and vitality, and can bring his/her spiritual knowledge and power to bear on the atoms and molecules of his/her physical body and prevent ailments and reduce the rate of aging. To know God, we must first know our inner selves because the inner self of all human beings is an extension of God's Spirit. The deep relaxation associated with meditation enables your consciousness to be elevated to a higher level in a mind that is fully awake and relaxed in a well-rested and relaxed body, resulting in union of your mind with the mind of God. Meditation also enhances your realization of God’s love for you and His divine qualities and power that vitalizes your whole being. This realization gives you the strength, energy, and inspiration to love God with all your hearts, which leads you to a point of absolute convergence with all human beings, all nature, and God Himself. Thus, persistent deep meditation keeps you constantly in communion with God and readily inspired to serve the Lord and humanity, as Jesus Christ did.
